WOC selection weekend

A number of Irish senior squad members will take part in WOC selection races this weekend in France. The races will be extremely competitive, with a large number of national teams taking part in the races and the organised training days that follow next week.

Congratulations to Niamh O'Boyle who has been selected to compete at the first round of this years World cup races, the Nordic Tour. The tour is held between June 16th and 25th and is based in the 3 Scandinavian countries of Finland, Sweden and Norway.
The competition involves a few new orienteering formats including a long distance sprint, a knockout sprint and a chasing start middle distance.
Niamh,who is finding her form after a winter of enforced mountainbiking is using the Nordic tour as a challenging step towards the world champs in France
